MODERN ART MUSEUM OF FORT WORTH HOSTS GRADUATE STUDENT LECTURE PROGRAM
Tuesdays and Saturdays, October 10–October 28, 2006

The Graduate Student Lecture Program is an opportunity for area art history graduate students to study original works of art at the Modern Art Museum and present public talks based on their research. This fall, three students from Texas Christian University have each developed two focused gallery talks on specific aspects of the Modern’s permanent collection and special exhibitions. Based on close observation, intensive research, and original analysis, these lectures explore works on view through a thematic and theoretical approach. Each forty-minute talk will be presented three times over the course of the semester to allow for multiple opportunities to attend. The second round of topics will be presented on the following dates and times:
