On February 21, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth's Tuesday Evenings lecture series presents Max Kazemzadeh, artist, curator, and Assistant Professor of Electronic Media Art at the University of North Texas. For this Tuesday Evenings, Kazemzadeh presents Feng Mengbo, "Bytes and Pieces," and Electronic Media Art. Kazemzadeh shares his passion for the potential of electronic media arts as represented in Bytes and Pieces, an exhibition he organized at the UNT Visual Arts Gallery. The exhibition features the work of Feng Mengbo, a world-renowned electronic media artist, and Galo Moncoya. Mengbo has been recognized for his contributions to the pertinent and intriguing field of electronic media in art with his inclusion in the 45th Venice Biennale of 1993, Documenta X of 1997, and Documenta XI of 2002, where he exhibited Q4U (Quake For You), a three-dimensional interactive electronic installation in which the objective is to kill others while staying alive by dancing on a Dance Dance Revolution pad and using a photo gun.
